The Friends of the Terrell County Animal Shelter are a group of volunteers who support the efforts of Terrell County in caring for our furry friends. The Shelter always needs helpers to take care of the animals and to help the unwanted ones find a humane and loving home.
In a new program, we are trapping cats in one area at a time, for spaying/neutering. We trap them with the permission of their owners, if they have them. If you let us know where you live, we will send you notices if we are trapping near you. This insures that your cats do not get trapped. We are happy to have a conversation with you about this program anytime. Please call (303) 503-2760 for information on our spaying/neutering program and our organization.
We are looking for help to transport the cats for spaying/neutering and their return and release to Sanderson. They are returned to their owners after they have been “fixed.” We always gets permission from the owner. All the cats are returned to the exact same location where they were trapped.
We are looking for donors who will support the costs of the spaying/neutering program and the organization. The Friends of the Terrell County Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit charitable organization. All donations to the Friends are tax-deductible.
